I remember when I was a young boy the first time my dad took me fishing, I could hardly get to sleep that night thinking of the next day's plans.
Ever since that first day I guess you could say I was "hooked", I have loved fishing and everything to do with fishing and boating ever since.
Well....I like fishing and boating so much that I decided to start my own fishing website! This is where I can put up photos, talk about fishing, boats, fishfinders, fishing tackle and who knows what. Grab youself a cold one, pull up a chair and get comfortable.....Come on in and tell everyone you've "Gone Fishin."

My name is Jack and I started this website to have some fun.... To talk about fishing and boating, different kinds of fishing tackle, fishfiders, GPS, boats, trolling motors, you name it! If it has to do with the outdoors, fishing, or just having fun out on the water it could wind up here.
I figure I can maybe help some people out with some fishing tips or articles that I write (or articles I may come across that others have written) Hopefully share some fun photos with other people who love the outdoors, fishing and boating. I know I can point anyone interested in fishing tackle, trolling motors, fishfinders etc. to some really good deals and low prices.....I may even sell some stuff myself.
I do have some contacts for low priced fishing tackle, fishing rods & reels, fishfinders and such. I would be more than happy to either point you in the right direction or if possible give you a great deal myself. (I used to be a dealer and sold on ebay and can still get some good wholesale prices) So don't be afraid to ask!

Different pages inside the "Gone Fishin" site will talk about many different things to do with fishing and types of fishing...... Deap sea fishing, trout fishing, bass fishing for example. The many types of fishing gear and fishing tackle, reels, fishing rods (you don't have to spend a fortune to have a nice fishing rod & reel).
Fishing gear is a topic that I will be getting into quite often, since there are many types and price ranges of fishing tackle out there. We can dicuss the best options of fishing gear for a young beginner or for the more advanced fisherman.
